Some stories are carried quietly in pencil lines, shaded roses, folded letters, names, numbers, symbols, and images created in places where time moves differently.
The justice system often attempts to strip people of their voices, but art can hold what cannot always be spoken. For those impacted by incarceration, creativity can become a tool for survival, identity, healing, and the path forward.
Fighters Path Foundation is creating space for those stories to be seen.
We invite artists who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, or impacted by the justice system to submit visual artwork that reflects resilience, culture, survival, hardship, hope, reentry, or transformation.
All mediums will be considered.
